Reluctantly selling one of my favorite safe queens. So that the kids can have toys for Christmas, one of dad's toys has to go. I obtained this very clean 1961 EG from Cigarman (and anyone who knows him knows that he only collects the best).

This Mak has the typically excellent finish we expect from East Germany, with just a minimal amount of holster wear near the muzzle on the left side of the slide. Import markings are discreet, located on the rear right side of the frame, just above the grip: "Ernst Thaelmann Germany G.P. TRAD St. Alb. Vt"

The standard military grip is the best I've owned, with no chips and sharp checkering. The magazine is un-numbered.

As for the trigger, it is outstanding, even by East German standards. Probably the best feature on an already impressive Makarov.

I would prefer a face to face transaction in Southwestern Pennsylvania, but I'll consider shipping it if that doesn't pan out (I do not have a C&R license, so I'll have to go through an FFL).

Asking price is $295, which is a bit less than I paid for it. Just looking for a fairly quick turn-around in order to hit the malls before Christmas.

Marko, the person selling the item doesn't need an FFL, just the buyer, you get their FFL (01 or 03) and you can ship direct to them overnight.

As an aside; I'll be at the Allentown show this weekend and not to sound low price, but I'd give you $250 FTF; I have a large banner yellow and green (MP colors) that says Wanted Militaria.

Thanks, Ed. Many of the dealers I've dealt with will only accept shipment of a firearm from another ffl holder, so I guess I'm used to working in that mode.
