What are the equivalent underwear sizes compared to the m-48, sg-52 .etc system?

+1 to that. They shrink up a bit in the wash.

I wear g52 uniforms, and the size 7 underwear fits me well enough, size 8 even after a few washes and they still look like the photo in Sportsman's Guide.
