Anyone hunt with a 20g skeet choked gun, and if so, what? Open field, or woods?
I almost bought a semi auto this weekend that I liked, but it is Skeet bored with no scew in chokes. I like to hunt running rabbits in open fields, and have always used modified or full chokes. I know it would make a great quail gun for those last second risers, or for grouse up north, but I do little of that anymore. The stupid cat worshipors in Florida have brought the feral cat population to such numbers that a lot of the quail, and rabbits, populations have been killed off.

Well, i sure do!

I have a Remington 20 GA. SXS in 20" barrels both with skeet chokes in them. I have used it on pheasant (hunting over Brittany Spaniels,) for some time now (#3 steel, or #4 Heavy steel) with excellent results!

I lost my right eye, and after 55 years of right hand shooting, this combo has been a face saver for me!

Tah
