A leather DDR sling, and a rifle.
Here's a link to an early Russian carbine sling, Hungarian marked, and a rifle http://forums.gunboards.com/showthread.php?199075-Mark-on-sling-Is-it-Hungarian![]()
Just to start. I don't know whether it is rare or uncommon or what but it is the only one I have seen like it. It is on a M91, a 1903 Sestroryetsk.
The one from the Arisiaka or the M91? I know that the rubberized canvas sling on the M91/30 is Finnish. I assume you are referring to the one from the Arisaka. It is definitely different than anything I usually see, but who knows where that rifle could have picked up the sling.Your sling is not Finnish- it appears to be a French sling.

The one with the black enameled buckle and the little leather button flap cover. If it was on a Arasaka maybe per chance it came from French Indo china.
This sling is definetely FrenchI'm not sure how rare they are, but I only have a handful of slings that came with my Finnish rifles. Here's three. None are marked. The detached sling with the protective flap for the button came with the Type 30.
