As for the "Made in Germany" stamp, weren't a lot of the sporter .22's from the '30's intended for export to the U.S. and other countries?

I agree to some extent on your wish, Aeisir. But the very successful collectors like Raul and some that I know work very hard at visiting shops, flea markets, yard sales, etc., to find their prizes. They really earn their collection. But I imagine you know that.
