I have an idea, just wondering what you all think about it.

What if we make one sticky devoted to pictures of Norwegian Krags, one with pictures of danish Krags and one with US krags?

Whether there is the need for further subsections, carbines for instance, is up to us to decide. I have no problem with that myself.

What say you?

But then... what about pictures of Norwegian rolling blocks, Kort Lundsgevær M1860 /67, or even a nice Tappgevær M1774/41/51.
It would be nice to have a place for them too.

Of course. That can be solved in several ways. Either they can be posted as separate posts on the forum, they will have a place here in that way, or we could make a "miscellaneous" sticky for the scandinavian weapons that are not Krags. As Dutchman has already written there is to be a bit of leeway on this forum, so I'm sure we could find a solution. The only thing I don't want to do is make separate stickies for all the types mentioned and more, too many stickied threads are a nuisance when navigating a forum. Lets stick to the main types and an open cathegory...

I sure like the sticky idea. Popular Krag subjects that need attention are bolt removal, sight identification, proper vs bubba carbine identification and ammo reloading info.

I also like to direct people to the Krag Collectors Association website http://www.kragcollectorsassociation.org/ which has excellent pictures.
