"Selling My Sole for a No1 MK 6"
------------------------------------------------
You are trying to sell a fish for a rare Lee-Enfield? ;')
Come on folks! We could not let such a reply "flounder"! Gawd, I am a "Sucker" for such "Carpy" jokes!
There was a bit of sarcasm in the post, but thanks for the advise. My advice is not to sell your soul or risk losing your home for any gun. Pay the mortgage so you can keep a roof over your family and the collection you have.
Good for you. I have one, not converted. Never seen another one. Seen pictures, heard stories of others.I Need some advise.
I'm about to buy a No 1 Mk VI that was converted to a No 4 Mk 1. I think I may be short on my bills like mortgage. But I think I should do it.
And I'm not telling my wife.
Any thing I should look for before I got to see it on Sunday?
I would never restore and Enfield. If they were meant to be restored the British Government would have don it themselves. But thanks for looking out for the Rifle.I hope you leave it as received instead of "restoring it." The WWII rebuilds are certainly collectible as they stand. I like the one I have and would not think of changing it.
They probably new it was allready corrupted. They never asked me for my soul when I bought mine.
Thats a bit up close and personal, poor wallaby what did it do to get a life sentenceMay a wallaby bite your john thomas:laugh:
