There aren't any measurements on the bolt heads, so they are pretty much "try till you find the right one". You might be more successful if you get a set of headspacing gauges instead of stacking shims together. Seems to me it may be a more accurate measurement.

I have a M39 that headspaces about .013. To get the gun to shoot I have to make the firing pin extention longer. Can you get longer bolt head like on a Enfield? To get the headspace dim. I put shims behind the shell and the bolt head till the bolt would not close. Thanks, Detroit-1
