The Rude Rodent was kind enough to bring a bag full of Saipan related stuff out to the Phoenix show for me. It's gonna take a while to digest all the stuff in this bag but one item that stood out was this surrender leaflet.
The first two photos are of one side & the third photo is of the other.

Wow - photos are easy to load again! Yipee!

Very cool. I had one shaped like a leaf/with Japanese writing many years ago...wish I had not sold it.

One question I have is - was this surrender form used throughout the pacific or only in certain areas? This sucker is gonna need a two sided frame

Mutt, Since the show I saw several surrender leaflets in a book, one was the B-29 dropping bombs that was in the material I passed along to you. I'll see if I can recall the book's name, believe it's the one on Marine air from WWII through Viet Nam. Will Check.
