I have a M& P 9mm I love it, its simple, light and feeds without any problems,
the one thing I don't like about it is the very heavy trigger pull. I've been told that I can't do anything to address the trigger pull is this true?

M&P

I just got a .357 SIG, don't know about the trigger pull, no worse than factory Glock.

Edit: I was a big Glock fan before. The M&P fits my hands much better, not quite as much after market stuff but its still a nicer pistol IMO. I can also drop in a .40 S&W barrel if I want. I just ordered an extra magazine tonight.

S&W offers a factory tune for the trigger at $125 IIRC, comments from those that have had it done have been favorable. They also now offer the M&P 9 Pro with a "match" trigger and fiber optic sights.

Search a bit on the web and you will find ways of "improving" the trigger, some caution is in order, a fellow I know had to send his M&P back to Smith after he got too agressive with a dremel tool. I would also point out that many M&P owners feel the trigger improves with use, and that the improvement is noticeable after 500-600 rounds are run through a gun.

thanks for the reply i've had several thousand rounds through it and its operation is smooth as silk. i think i'm noticing the heavy trigger because i just purchased a paraord 1911 type pistol and the difference in trigger pull is very noticable
