Over the years, we've had interesting conversations going about Type 38 rifles with school markings.

I can't recall if I've posted photos of this rifle before, but here are some shots of a neat Nagoya Type 38 rifle with the abbreviation for youth "sei" stamped between the gas ports and the letter "S" as a serial number prefix. This example still has an aluminum school ownership tag attached to the rear sling swivel.
