I am looking at this SKS. All numbers match except the stock. The metal is excellent, the stock is dark and a bit dinged. No import marks and the side of the receiver is marked Type 56 and 1959. He is asking $250 with no cleaning rod or bayonet. The stock is cut for a spike bayo and there is a 30rd mag in it. What do you all think. Pics not available. Thanx

If the stock is cut for a spike, it is not Romanian or perhaps the stock was replaced. I think you need to post some pics of this one.

Type 56 is Chinese.
