Anyone know a trick to recoat a pressure switch? Have an old Surefire M500 that works. Thanks.

Clean really well and brush on some black RTV, couple coats or as needed?
Just a suggestion on my part. I've never tried it.

Sure. They sell it in spray cans and in bottles, paint cans, and tall cans for dipping. I would try one of the bottles/cans. Clean the area, get a brush and brush it on. Might take a couple coats. You'll have to experiment. $10 at Harbor Freight.

Liquid Electrical Tape might work too. Similar to plasti-dip

Don't start on the switch - experiment with whatever you're going to try on a test surface, preferably the same type of materials as here

It’s a Surefire… they tend to stand behind their stuff. Not sure why you wouldn’t at least call them and see if they might be able to help?

This thing is over 25 years old. Was on a 1996 Colt AR15A3 which was used by law enforcement. Not sure that they would even consider it.

Call them first. Ask what can be done to fix it.
