I managed to snag this pair of Walthers at last weekend's Lakeland , Fl. gun show. The PP was originally purchased by the RSHA , the umbrella organization that included the SD, SiPo ,Gestapo and other assorted nasty Nazis. The PPK is an early one , 1931 I believe. here are some pics.

Nice pistol, especially the PP. I have one that is about 1000 numbers away from your PP. Those PPs are hard to find.

What would the date on the PP (a rather nice one IMO) be? RSHA as an umbrella for the various security services was not established until late September, 1939, as I presume you know.

1940 or 1941. Most likely later in 1940.
