My youngest son bought a new Draganov last week. We know some Romanians who run a deer processing plant and he was able to have all the markings translated. My son said the scope (sniper) is supposed to be self illuminated. There are no switches or anything like that on the scope. Are these scopes somehow self illuminating. He asked me to ask the experts, so here I am. By the way he let me shoot it. Ahhhhh! What a great feeling. I hit the bullseye freehand with six of the ten shots. I am going to challenge him to a shooting match against my French 49/56. Mine is not scoped, but is dealy at 100 yards with the open sights.
