Got a 1903A3 Smith Corona sporter some months ago and spent some time
restocking and resighting it back to as close to military as my skills would allow.

From the serial number this rifle was made in 1944.

Replaced the weaver scope with a Numrich reproduction rear sight. Easy and exact fit and off to the
range I went. At 100 yards with no wind the first group was low and right and after adjusting my sight picture (getting used to the front post) and clicking the rear sight over to the left 4 clicks I ended up with 2 bulls and a nice center grouping.

I would highly recommend the rear sights from Numrich for the 1903A3's as I was very happy with my results.
