Sounds like kind of a dumb question, but I don't know so it's getting asked.. Will replacing a slide affect accuracy?

Haven't seen a dumb question. Anybody seen a dumb question? Speak up.

Since the barrel is pinned to the frame in the blowback Makarov my opinion is the accuracy can't be affected by a change in the slide.

The way it groups should be unaffected as the same barrel stays on the frame unmoved. However, new sights ride on a new slide and you may have to make some adjustments to get the same point of impact that you had with the old sghts on the old slide. Shermysan
