I'd like to put on a rubber grip on my 5906 . I know to drive out the pin, but when I did I still could'nt get the grip to budge . The main spring is in the back strap of the grip, so I drive the pin out , now what do I do?

PS. I've checked the on line manual for this pistol but it gives no INFO. on this subject.

Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

From what I remember once the pin in the frame is removed you have to spread the front part of the grips apart a slight amount to overcome a small detent molded into the grips. they should then slip off. As I remember I used small screwdrivers covered in tape to avoid scratching the finish. If the grip will not come off sliding it backward do the same thing while pulling down on it. There is a lot of spring in the grips so I wouldn't worry to much about hurting them with the slight amount of tension you put on them.
