A friend wants to sell a remington model 33 single shot .22.
This is the type where you manually cock the firing pin with a knob at the back of the bolt.
Condition is about 50 to 75 percent with very good bore and works fine.
Rifle was purchased used in the 70s so I don't know the year of manufacture.
If you have an idea of it's value please let me know.

Thanks for the info Cass I didn't think it had much value but I didn't want to give him a price without doing a little research first.

IMO $100. is pretty much the current going rate on a well used, but shootable M33. W/values going up for better conditions. Check the various gun auction websites. $100.+ shipping is about as cheap as you'll find one there.
These old vintage .22 are now aquiring some collector interest and current values are beginning to reflect this.
