Hi, I picked up a nice military Remington Model 11 shotgun a few days back, made in April of 43. Works fine, but I'd like to take it down and clean it completely. Anyway, where normally there is a notch cut in the ejection port to drive the bolt retaining pin out, there is no notch on this model. U-tube videos don't address this problem, how do I get that pin out so I can take the bolt out? Thanks in advance, I tried to find if this had been previously asked, but haven't seen it
covered.

There is a hole in the left side of the receiver for this. Line the bolt up so the pin can be accessed using that hole. The pin drifts out from right to left, and is installed left to right. See page 185 of the manual linked above.

Thanks allot sovbloc.. Very good link, I thought that might be the case, although not a great deal of room for the punch, but didn't want to take a chance of screwing things up. It will definitely need a pin punch. I really appreciate
