Title says it all. Please use the following format for Remington M1891 rifles. You may "x" out the last digit or two of the serial number if you wish.

1916 - 1 - walnut stock
1916 - 1992 - Instructie marked stock with matching buttplate and magazine floorplate.
1916 - 3864
1916 - 9691 - Romanian spliced stock.
1916 - 59807 - SA marked, 2 piece stock
1916 - 64950 - "MP8" Spanish Civil War
1916 - 68585 - Instructie rifle

1917 - 0 - factory specimen [EDIT - I assume no serial number as opposed to the number "0"]
1917 - 24055 - finned sa from empire arms
1917 - 115703 - Instructie marked on reciever and stock. Romanian spliced stock.
1917 - 144755 - Stock Disc 9.KKR 12 , 100% Matching.
1917 - 222547 - [SA] marked
1917 - 223714 - [SA] marked, 2-piece stock
1917 - 240789 - [SA] marked, 100% matching
1917 - 242100 - [SA] and =S= marked
1917 - 244021 - S43977, Pirkka Häme - With Christmas Tree

1918 - No # - no stock markings
1918 - 10481 - dot "dice" pattern on left side of shank, total mismatch, NIM, wire sling hangers
1918 - 2577x - Mismatch, Spanish Stock w/ MP8 cartouche
1918 - 285xx - not importer-marked, non-matching, no readable stock cartouche, Finnish"G" stamp below forward sight, Polish "diamond-P" on bolt body.

1918 - 47264 - Japanese trainer

Coogan, thanks for tackling this! You've got a LOT of Remingtons!

Here's mine:

1918 Remington, 5-dot "dice" pattern on left side of shank - total mismatch, NIM, wire sling hangers - S/N 10481

Scrubbed buttplate, very faint traces of numbers and tiny "R" stamp. No US markings on stock. Bolt stamped "S48325" on left side (top flat when bolt closed), has been X'ed out. Bolt and cocking knob both Remington proofed and numbered 222599, bolt head also Remington proofed. Copper riveted handguard.

1918 non-serif #285xx, not importer-marked, non-matching, no readable stock cartouche, Finnish"G" stamp below forward sight, Polish "diamond-P" on bolt body (just in case any of the extra info is necessary).
