I recently recieved a quantity of 35 SLR. (self loading rifle)

These are all soft point hunting rounds.

I dont recall having ever owned or noticed a rifle in this caliber.

I have owned a 351 SLR Winchester in the past.

Never owned anything in 35 Remington SLR.

Anyone have any info?

according to COTW 7th edition the 35 win. SLR came out in 1905 and was such a poor cartridge it was dropped in 1920. It was chambered in the model 1905 rifle. The 351 Win.came out in 1907 in the model 1907 SLR.

Had an uncle years ago who had a .35 WSL on the rack. The gun and the ammo are both collector's items. The .351 was a lot better, the .35 Remington was and is much much better.
