I am NOT a rolling block expert, I have several reproductions but wanted an original. I just acquired what appears to be a #1 rolling block stamped 1867 on the right side above the trigger guard, but it has no retainer plate . Instead it has screws that appear to be retainers. Any ideas on what model this is?
everything else appears proper.

May have found it, looks to be a 1868 Swede. But the 1867 date stamped on the side appears original, same amount of wear as the 4 digit serial number. It is chambered in 50-70 and the barrel is dated 1873 but also appears original. Re-barreled or an early parts gun?

It is probably a Model 1867 Swede made in 1867 which were originally in 12.17x44 Rimfire and converted to centerfire later. I don't have "Cartridges of the World" handy to compare the .50-70 Gov't measurements.
