I took a Rem 700 LTR .308 in a partial trade. The deal was it went back to rem once and then to the custom shop. The guy swore the best 3 shot group he ever got was 2" at 100 yds. It was just a piece of shit. I looked at it, barrel crown looked perfect, nice 2.5lb trigger. So I took a chance on it. Put a slapped a scope on it. Took it out this morning 15 degrees out. 4 shots got the scope zeroed. Once I got settled in FGM 168gr was shooting .35-.40 groups and with BH 175gr I got multiple .25 groups. Yeah, what a piece of shit.
