A number of the K98's from Albania that I own are matching except for bolts.Very little finish and beat up stocks. One has nails driven through the pistol grip to repair a broken stock.Bores are generally bad.I've shot some groups at 30 meters in the underground range at work with all of the bullets hitting sideways. Most that I have seen will not respond to counterboring. The lands are nothing but rust and go away as you clean.

Good And Bad

The Albanian rifles are for the most part bolt m/m guns. So that is a far cry better than an RC. But also for the most part condition is fair at best.
Finally, IMHO the Albanian imported K98k rifles on GB are overpriced for what they are bolt m/m, importer marked, and in fair condition at best.

I would pass on them and look for a non-import bolt m/m German K98k that went through no rework.
