Though you guys might like a look at my 5.45 ammo received from USAC, it was $315 per crate of 2160 rnds., plus $44 in shipping. It's 1983 dated and the can even hissed when I opened it.

It is definitely different looking than other lots I have received, the lacquer seems to be more even and the primer seals aren't slopped on like the previous years. Thought that was pretty interesting, probably won't make any difference in function though.

Seriously though, there is nothing like opening a spam can of ammo. That's not a bad price anymore. I should probably grab a case myself. Hmm.

From the Ukraine. Also a lot imported from Bulgaria. I have experienced a little better accuracy with the Bulgarian but basically the same 7N6 ammo.

yeah, I've heard the bulgarian ammo is a little hotter and a little cleaner to boot. Wish I had the foresight to buy it when it was $100 a can.
