Ok guys I took my yugo m24/47 to the range today and shot some groups with 3 different types of surplus ammo at aprox. 55yds. And I actually remembered my glasses this time. But I did forget to bring my good targets so please excuse theses poorly drawn one's.

Here is the romanian group:

Here is some copper washed bulgarian:

Here is some Nickel plated czech:

I pulled one on both the bulgarian and romanian groups but the measurements of the 4 shots are

Bulgarian 5/8" group
Romanian 7/8" group
I didnt even measure the czech, I was really dissapointed with it

I will continues to test different 8mm and post results here
any questions? comments? thoughts?

Nickel plated Yugo? Copper washed Czech is also unfamiliar to me..Can you post pics of the headstamps or rounds you used..

Nice shooting whatever you used : ) The M24/47 is a great shooter for sure

I have seen nickel plated Czech, Polish, Turk, but never Yugo, whether from the 40s to the 80s.
Copper washed I have seen, German, and Bulgarian, but never Czech. Seen Czech 54r copper washed from the 80s though. What are the headstamps??

5/8's at 55 yards, some great shooting.

Those look like most of my targets but I use a smaller dot.

I would rather spend the money on more ammo.

well the surplus store owner (probably not the best source would be a nice way to put it) told me the copper washed ammo was czech, and a board member told me that the nickel plated was yugo
heres a pic of the ammo:

couldnt get a good pic of headstamps but they read
"czech": 10 over 64 with a triangle and a -
"yugo": uxa over 7

10 over 64 is Bulgarian, and the uxa is Czech.

good to know, at least you guys can tell me what Im shooting, I'll have to go back and get some more of that bulgarian. last time I was there they had 2 900 round crates
