Judging from the third picture I'd have to go with french walnut. The second pic has a beech look being a tad blotchy but it could just be dirt and time. The first pic also has a walnut look especially on the bottom of the stock. The last pic seems to show a little open grain like walnut. What's the date on the receiver and do the numbers in the channel match the receiver? Maple stocks fall in a certain serial number time frame.

Still not enough pictures of other places and other sides of the stock for me to make an opinion. Need to see front parts of the stock also from both sides. Right now, I would only have to guess Beech. But with more and better pictures it would be a better way to make an honest opinion.
