Any "Made in England" or "England" stamp on a Webley revolver was put on it long after it was manufactured, usually to make it legal to import into the United States. Such a marking is not required by British law, and Webley firearms were certainly not so marked when made. Any such revolver found in the United States which is not marked with the country of origin either came into the country before such a marking became a legal requirement, of was imported in contravention of the requirement ...
