I like my Yugo 57 but the machining inside the slide..on the barrel locking lugs is almost "jungle workshop" quality. There is more wear on the slide locking area after 200rds than what I see in a HiPower after 10,000rds.

Do these pistols hold up? I now think I need more pistols in this caliber, not more 7.62x25 ammo!

If you have one of the new commercial versions that are currently being sold, they're not nearly as well made as the military ones that were and still are being imported. I have 2 of the original imports from a few years back. They are very well finished inside and out. I bought one of the new Zastava compact 9mm Toks, thinking I would get the same quality. NOT! It was very rough inside and not up to the standards of the earlier weapons. The military imports were exceptional. The new ones...not so much.
