Hello, could anybody tell what kind of PU type scope is this one? It could not be set to 2000 m (only to 1300), it has regular reticle (opposite to heavy one) and it was previously painted with black paint. Could it be a Polish made scope for Mosin-nagant? Well, if not then for what it was used? Thank you

For my opinion this a polish made PU scope.I can't see all the marks, I can see the Polish code U-43_ _ (maybe U-4396?). It was made in 196_ (1960 or 1969?)and for my opinion refurbed/reworked in 1972.
These scopes are not common.
Very nice find. So nice!!!!

Best regards.

Yes it is a Polish issued scope. It appears that it was made/issued in 1966 and received into repair/ refurnbishment in 1972. The WZR indicates Polish Army property.

Thank you very much. Just one question: was this scope made for a sniper rifle or was it for some other weapon?
