Got these when I bought my PSL. I believe they are 125 w/the mag pouch( I don't know it's something I saw while reading I don't know the date of the ad.) The front of some of them will need work, the tips of the bullets hang on the front of the mag and jamming the rifle. I filled the mag and checked them by hand the bullet sits below the lip on 1 or2. Not that great pictures, but you can see what they are calling good enough. The very first one, that's the spring and follower you see through the hole. There is black paint put over the hole, don't know from where. I oiled them before I took the pictures so the rust isn't that visible in the gap between the gap of the top and the mag itself, but there is quite a bit of it. They'll work, but they are getting on the edge with a couple of them and they are filthy filthy.

Had a few of mine that came like that. Used a dremmel tool with the wire brush and oil to clean them up inside and out. They work great and look damn near brand new.

I got a dozen rather sad and moth eaten looking "slightly rusted" when they were being sold dirt cheap. All but one were quite serviceable, even with the holes eaten through them!
A little cleaning, brushing and oil and, for the price, I was more than satisfied.

Some PSL are picky about magazines. If you get a balky one with feeding problems, swap it with another PSL owner. You may find it works just fine in a different gun!
I swapped a couple of mine with a guy having trouble with his and they worked fine in his gun. His worked fine in mine.

I have heard that from more than one PSL owner before. So far all 10 of mine work in my rifle.

I would keep even the rusty pitted PSL mags. I was just on gun broker and they are priced at about 80 a peice. A set of four with the pouch are at 250.00 right now. Why in the hell are they so high? Glad I got mine at 20 a peice!!

That has been my experience as well, but I only have 4 total. The mag that came with my PSL from Centerfire had some very minor pitting along the front feed lips, but nothing like the pics above, it feeds and functions flawlessly. I was lucky enough to pick up 3 more from J&G before they sold out, they ran $25 ea. and are in damn near perfect condition, one locked in really tight and took near gorilla strength to remove, but I filed some material off the thick rear sides of the mag and it works fine now, the other two worked like a charm right out of the box.

I was looking to pick up some more 10 rounders, 4 of the 10 I have are 5 rounders. Gonna wait till the prices drop before I pick any up!

The rust you need to worry about is the rust you can't see, particularly up under the reinforcing collar that forms the lips...it's only tack welded to the body proper. I squirt WD into this void with the mag upside down to allow it to seep in between the metal surfaces. I don't know if it stops the rust from starting or getting any worse, but it makes me fell batter.

Rust never sleeps.

If you keep searching GB, you'll find some sets stuck at much lower prices.

The $250 auction brought a lot of them out. At least one set of 4 with pouch starting at $99 and another set of 4 with pouch starting at $200. I bet the $200 starting one doesn't get a single bid. The $250 auction just went that high due to auction frenzy.

I had a couple of mags that had one or two little tips of rust on the top , in between the layers of metal . I know that if not cleaned correctly , the rust will continue until it destroys the magazine , so I decided to use Naval Jelly for 10 minutes in all of my six mags , then , cleaned them with Paint thinner and compressed air real well to eliminate the Naval Jelly. That took care of the rust completely to the core , so then I refinished them with 500 degree engine paint , lubed them and they are now rust free and well protected . I have worked on all my mags , twiking them some more than others and they all work flawlessly on my PSL without a single hiccup , so I have to take care of them to be trouble free for some long time .
