Would like to value my trapdoor carbine. I'll let the pictures do most of the talking but it is in decent shape and appears all correct, stock is not a cut down and has the door for the rods in the butt and the grip has been "thinned", I'm assuming for cadets. It has honest wear and even patina. The serial # is 137,xxx. The only thing wrong with it is it didn't have a rear sight when I bought it so I have a rifle sight on it for now just cause I couldn't stand to look at it without a sight. The block is 1873 dated and the receiver has "MASS" on it. Let me know what you think.
