Finally. All those years of turning over Model 94s at stores and shows paid off. I snagged a 1956 Model 94 in prime shape for 425.00 cash off Armslist of all places. I've often said I'd be willing to look at five thousand to find a deal like this and I essentially did just that.

I also picked up a Model 1890 and a Model 61 .22 WRF last week, plus a Marlin Model 38. Will post pix.

Me, too. Nothing handles quite like a '94 with a 20" barrel. It took me too long to realize why the Winchester 9410 shotgun works. It's the handling.

The Marlin 336 I respect. The Winchester 1894 I love.
