Guys,
Saw a rifle on the weekend that the guy stated that was a sweedish navy issue, no markings to state that though.
It had a pramm rear sight with tunnel fitted. I suggested to him that it was wrong. I thought ALL military issue rifles(besides some earlyM38's) where all issued with standard rear sights.
Am I right?

Its hard to convince a fool that he's foolish:).

There is a navy marking called a flotilla stamp or cat's claw mark. Its a small mark and I can't recall hearing about one on a m/96 though I won't say its impossible.

The rifle could have been used by the navy before the it fell into civilian hands where the Pram sight was added for FSR competition shooting.
