I help out/consult with a SOT and one of the post '86 dealer samples we have is a PPSh-41.

Beautiful little subgun. With the 71 rd. drum in it, you can easily imagine house to house in Stalingrad or Berlin.....

Nice. The simplicity of those things always kills me.

A couple years ago someone found a PPSh-41 while cleaning the attic of a 120 year old house in my town. They, of course, turned it into law enforcement. Checked with the NFA, no registration... now it's a Form 10 gun. :( The thing sat and rotted until I came around and restored it with a polish parts kit. We're planning on test firing it within the next few weeks. I'm just hoping the drum I got for it actually feeds. I understand the drums were fitted and s/n'ed at the factory.
