I have two Russian Kits that are complete with a blank section and un-cut trunions with one drum each. These came from I/O long ago and sections were bought seperate. The slag has been removed and rear sight removed from cut sections. I'd like to know what they are worth and if it's legal to sell them. Any help or advice on this is appreciated. Sunfish

Seems like someone would know? Or have a rough idea. I have heard a lot of talk about the trunion's but seen no letter of the law. Sunfish

Value? only if you have one that is already registered and you want spare parts, or you want to make up a display piece. Otherwise its asking for 10 years with free room and board in a government institution and a hefty fine.

It Is Perfectly Legal To Own And Sell Them....atf Started Chopping Trunions Because It Is Pretty Easy To Make Into A Full Auto, With The Blank Sections On The Market...the Trunion Is Not The Receiver...the Back-half Of The Shroud Behind The Trunion Is The Receiver...that Is The Serial Numbered Part...i Know... I Am A Classii/sot And Have Done Them For Customers Before The Atf Started Torch Cutting The Shrouds And The Kit Were Only Saw-cut...depending On Condition, Your Kit Is Worth About 550.00 Each

Merry Christmas
