Good evening Gunboards,

I present here a recent purchase of mine (In Canada if that matters.) I believe this to be a Chinese contract VZ24, made sometime in the late 20s perhaps? I am aware that the larger contract for VZ24s was with 1937 crests and were P series or 5 digit serials. Your thoughts and inputs are much appreciated.

The F2 suffix block dates to 1928. The lack of the E(lion)28 acceptance marking indicates that it was never issued to the Czechoslovak Army.

Thank you both. geladen you are more knowledgeable than most when it comes to Mausers. Do you have any other Chinese examples from this era of VZ24 production?
I only have one.
