I present here a recent purchase of mine (In Canada if that matters.) I believe this to be a Chinese contract VZ24, made sometime in the late 20s perhaps? I am aware that the larger contract for VZ24s was with 1937 crests and were P series or 5 digit serials. Your thoughts and inputs are much appreciated.

Chinese stock marking indicates it’s been to China. Chinese imported vz24 in late 20s to early 30s. Then resumed in 1937 with a large contract of 100000 rifles. Many early rifles were borrowed from MNO.

The F2 suffix block dates to 1928. The lack of the E(lion)28 acceptance marking indicates that it was never issued to the Czechoslovak Army.

Chinese Vz. 24 with low serial number

Recently purchased this rifle at auction. Unlike the majority of Chinese Vz. 24s, it's not 1937 dated and looks to be all-matching. The abnormally low serial number (265, no prefix) makes me wonder when these were actually contracted. I don't think it's one of those Chinese reproductions of the...
