Can't match those VERY NICE AK's, but I'll put up a Reba Jane for your pal Sam to look at.

Hello Smug Monkey. Nice AK's. That 74 is sweet. How is it as far as build an accuracy? I'd like to get one but Century has a bad rep. Thanks for sharing.
I bought the M74 from Centerfire when they were selling them for $369 with 3 Bulgarian mags. I figured for the price I would give it a shot (so to speak). When I received it I was very impressed for what I paid. Straight sights. Nice, even parkerized finish. Quality Nodak Spud receiver. Wonderful rivet work. Slick bolt carrier/rails. Numbers do not match and I couldn't care less.

When I took it to the range for the first time I fell in love with it. I have only shot 60 gr. Silver Bear through it, but it is quite accurate and has the fantastic G2 trigger. I have not experienced keyholes having shot it from 25 - 100 yards. I have close to 1000 rds. through it and it is my favorite rifle to shoot. The 74 brings a smile to my face every time I shoot it. The recoil pulse is incredible.

I have since bought a Romanian folding stock for it and it makes a nasty little package. I picked up 4 extra EG bakelite mags at a gun show a few weeks back for $10 each. These usually bring $25-$35 a piece!

These M74's haven't been available for quite some time now, although the Century Tantal is still being sold for Around $400. Surplus mags are harder to come by and are pricey whether they are polymer, bakelites, or the polish steel mags. Century guns are a gamble, no doubt, but I am very happy with mine.
