So, a few years ago, my uncle mentioned he may give me his old imperial Russian rifle... this week I got the call! It's now mine, and as luck would have it...it's not just a 1896 "Tula" , it has these funny stock splices, and an [SA] stamp!!!!

Thanks ... corrected and clarified. My uncle called it a Tula, and I knew that was wrong. Now to dig into his great uncle's Kokoru bring back 99 he gave me as a bonus. Intact mum, but bubba plugged barrel.
