This is one that had been on my list for a while. This is obviously the 9mm Largo version. These odd ducks made by Star saw service with the Peruvian mounted police as well as in the Spanish Civil War. I test fired this one at the range and it ran through a couple of magazine loads flawlessly. The Palanco (lever) on mine is a little loose such that it doesn't stay up but from what I've read that's fairly typical.

Strange pistol design for some reason I never developed an interest in them, this looks like a goodie but I would hesitate to shoot Santa Barbara ammo of the 50’s in it.

Wow! I’ve never seen one of these before. Thanks for the high quality photos. I’ll definitely be on the look out for one. I like to collect Spanish pistols

Have handed a couple and all of them had the lever flop around while shooting, even after tightening the screw

What is real neat is they made a 4mm sub caliber barrel to slide into the barrel when you break it open. You then shoot the gun single shot style.

I have looked for that attachment for years.
