I read the title of the thread, was not surprised and saw the marking on the pommel. The rest of you high speed low drag speed readers ended up in the ditch and had to be towed out.

I too have a Canadian marked bayonet however this one has had Australian service too. A friend rang me to say that they were going through his grandfathers stuff after he passed away. I got his webbing, helmet and bayonet. Am thinking how this bayonet came to be in Australian hands. Either post WW1 or sometime in Nth Africa perhaps.
