Norm, how about a little more insight on that slant breech? In spite of of markings, do they appear to be Nepalese-made? Same crude internals and hand-made parts, or more like western manufacture?

Outwardly yours shows a much better fit and finish in spite of wood shrinkage and general wear and tear of time.

this one doesn't seem to be Nepal made, all the machining looks to good , I did an acid test on the barrel, and the barrel came up machined not lap wielded, all the screws have good threads on them, I think this a scrubbed original Sharps ,I have some books on sharps coming , to help me do some more research on it

Norm, we'll be interested in hearing what you come up with. These have been very interesting to see since IMA first posted them for sale. Yours looks great and appears to be quite shootable.

Looked good before it was cleaned up too.

Same here in regard to hearing about shooting and function etc. Please take note of the amount of gas leakage at the breech if any?

Thanks

I personally held that Sharps in Norms living room and drooled all over it. (Sorry about the rust spots Norm)
