parts are out of ultrasonic

stock all cleaned up, the forearm was shorten already

bolt head was already drilled with too large of a hole, I'll probably tread the bolt and put harden screw in it then redrill to a proper size

the striker has been cut down, so the home made firing pin would work, so i'll have to drill the striker and put a drill rod in it for a firing pin

may make this into a carbine seeing that the barrel and the forearm has been cut already

I always wonder why people would cut down such a fine rifle. I suppose someone thought a few less inches would make a big difference.

found my miss placed 6mm bolts

drill a hole in it

cut it down , and counter sunk it, this will be screwed into the bolt first, for eases of placement of the firing pin

didn't have any red Loctite, so I used some medal epoxy , made for gun smithing

after it dries, in about 12 to 24 hours I will mill the bolt face a little

also I will cut the firing pin back a little to proper length

Norm, I like it!!!!!!!!!. Gives the vet a whole new look. Guy shows up at the rifle range with one of these. Was an Italian one. Looked like a shed gun. Light to medium rust on anything metal. Same for the bore. He asked how to clean up the rust. Told him 4/0 steel wool and a good grade of gun oil. No wire brushes, wire wheels, sand paper or anything abrasive. Never saw it again. Frank
