The Oviedo 1928 cartouched replacement stock indicates Spanish use.

M1893 Spanish Navy long rifle, Ludwig Loewe

This rifle came to me with the rear sling swivel removed and filled with a wood plug. After the photos were taken, the correct swivel was reinstalled and Spanish sling added. The Ma prefix and M suffix serial number indicates Spanish Navy contract.

M1893/38 Turkish long rifle, Waffenfabrik Mauser

The receiver crest is a 1935 Turk replacement of the original crest. Caliber was changed from 7.65mm to 7.92mm and the magazine cutoff was deactivated. The bayonet blade was shortened.

M1893 Uruguayan M1895 long rifle, Fabrique Nationale

The only indication this rifle is Uruguayan is the stock cartouche.

M1893 (ZAR) Chilean long rifle, Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken

The serial number, bent bolt handle, and M1893 receiver instead of M1895 show it was made for ZAR and shipped to Africa where it was stopped by the British blockade, returned to Germany, then marked with a Chilean crest and sold to Chile.

M1894/14 Swedish carbine, Carl Gustafs Stads Gevarsfaktori

In 1914 earlier carbines were modified to take a bayonet. Later carbines, like this one, were originally made to take a bayonet.

M1895 Chilean carbine, Ludwig Loewe

The last photo shows the Chilean carbine, short rifle, and long rifle. Actually the long rifle is the M1893 ZAR/Chilean. A Chilean M1895 long rifle has a straight bolt handle.
