Rodent and I will arrive Wednesday night. That is if we can find our way without Ruth. There is some doubt.... riceone
Ruth isn't coming? Bummer, I was looking forward to embarassing her with my "Fart Machine" like I did last time. :)

TGE It is at the Fairgrounds, almost all the fair buildings, open to the public Fri Sat & Sun, with set up on Thurs if a dealer, or enough moxie to just walk in. I wll be there also, Bob Skidmore, with Rick Reich in the SAR building drop by or I will see you in the "Banzai" corner. Including Wally and a couple others at least 12 coming from Vegas. Skid

It's held at the fairgrounds & I think it may be a 4 day show. I'm flying in Thursday & Langley called just a bit ago & said he'd take me & some others over to the show after we check into our hotel. Just talked to Garfield as well & he's going. Thursday is probably the "set up" day. Come on out!

Thanks for the info. If I make it, I will find the Banzai group.

Mutt, How's your sick leave? You'll be happy to know I'm flying out with the flu. By the time Riceone over night's here, drives to B'ham with me in the "Yo" and then sits 3-4 hours on the plane next to me, he will have it, one of us will give it to Langley and you will go back to the P.R. of K. with the bug and miss 3-4 days of work. Really looking forward to shaking hands with, sneezing on you, old buddy. Rodent.

I do hope you're joking. That crap you brought with you two years ago made me sicker than I've been since childhood. Missed two days of work because I couldn't dare to be more than 15 feet from the bathroom. What a pal :p
Maybe I can arrange for an exterminator to be there to take care of you & the grit farmer. ;)

Mutt, No joke, but it's different this time, if last year was a 10, this is a 5. Happened to think, last year the TN show was also a week before Phoenix. Ruth apparently caught it at the show, but it took her to the following Friday to come down with it. She was SICK and I called Cornbread to tell him we wern't going. Then Sunday night she said she felt better and would fly out later. I drove on over to Cornbread's and he, Marjie, and I headed out Monday, 944 miles the first day. Would have made it 1K, but MS Cornbread was ready to stop and I was feeling puny. From 9 to 11 that night I knew the ship was about to hit the sand. At 11 on the dot I hit the bathroom running, running from the top and then the bottom. Next morning, we had to stop one time for me to barf, but I felt good when we hit Langleys, Then Roy came down with it, Jim missed a show day with it, then you carried it back to the PRK and probably spread it around. Almost Coast to Coast. Let's see what this year brings? Looking forward to seeing you grasshopper.

This flu must have affected what memory you have left. That was two years ago - remember? I wasn't able to make Phoenix last year as I didn't have a dog sitter. Just took a vitamin & will stay on them until we get through this. Must be lots of pestilence out there from all that inbreeding in those southern states

News flash - just talked to my landlady & she's sick :( I had Thanksgiving dinner at her place so I may be bringing you sumpin special :)

Riceone, what would have done if I told you it was "coming on" instead of "going away" when you called, stay home and stuck me with the entire room bill? Looking for you around four PM so that means you have to leave home around eleven AM. And if you still stop the car, get out and look every time an airplane flys over you better leave around eight AM or earlier!

You can see more airplanes in the Mississippi Delta in a month at the right time of the year than you can see in other states all year long. Little yellow crop dusters that fly little higher than tree top-power line level. Think Roy's used to airplanes by now.

But in Mississippi they are still not use to the wall, table light off-on switch, they screw the bulbs out to turn off the light.
