What kind of frog was used for the Persian Mauser bayonets? I'm quite sure that there are not many of them around here. And now I think I know the reason why:

They obviously used a simple sewn-on leather sling - so no chance to find an original "frog" for this bayonet, unless this piece of leather still sticks with your scabbard (IMHO an absolute exception) ... And no, regrettably this is not my bayonet - mine is lacking that "frog", too.

Looks as if they have discontinued producing them - no longer to be found on their website.
