I've had this book for 12 years and its been around for over 20 years. I always end up drooling over all the neat allied and Japanese weaponry pics. More than once I was influenced by this book to buy some WWII Japanese stuff. There is a Normandy D-Day version of this series as well.

Figured to show a few of the Japanese pics. Anybody else got this book?

I have both books and spent a lot of time staring at the wonderful photos back in the simpler, pre-internet days in the '90s. Beautiful arms and militaria beautifully photographed. I always hoped that similar books on WWI, Korea and Vietnam would be published but sadly that never happened.

If you don't have this book Jeep, I would recommend getting it, not only does it detail the entire Pacific War, it also has most of the weapons both sides were using, including tanks and some artillery.

was looking around and it is a cheep book so I will pick it up soon. anyone know the title of the one for the European theater ?
