My Pearce came in today, and while it's 100% better feeling (and looking) than the original Hi-cap grip, I'm a little disappointed in the fit of it. The gaps in the frontstrap don't bother me so much, but I'd have thought it would have fit better and the top of the backstrap.

Also, I remember a few years ago, the first Mak I ever shot (which belonged to my brother) had a Pearce grip on it, and I'd swear I remember it being soft rubber. This one is just plastic. Has Pearce changed them at some time?

Oh well, warts and all it still beats the factory grip hands down.

The fit on my hi-cap is exactly the same.
I bought the grip as old-stock from a local shop....i've had it for two years, and the package looked like it had been around for a few years as well. It's a pretty hard plastic.

It definitely beats the old square/blocky factory grip.
I covered mine up with a hogue slip on. VERY sticky, and the finger grooves rock! Fits my hand perfectly (though it *looks* bulky).

I had a Hogue on my old one and liked the feel of it, but that was a standard capacity. I'll probably go ahead and put on on this as well, you're right, they do add a lot of grip.
